Video Games ARE Art!

In a Supreme Court (the US one, you noob!) ruling, a vote against a California law was won 7-2 against selling violent video games to minors (people under 18). According to CNN, California officials stated that video games are different from art because of their interactive qualities. Basically, killing people negates the "art" quality of a game, therefore making it not art, but violence. The Supreme Court did not like that argument, and voted against the law.
Now look, you know how game commercials show "T for teen" and stuff like that? That is the rating given by the ESRB, or Entertainment Software Rating Board. They determine whether games are appropriate for children, teens, and adults, and video game stores follow those ratings. Under 18 but over 12 and you are able to buy T rated games. You don't need a law if you already have a system! California is just wasting everyone's time.
