Story:
The twists an turns of the story are what makes it so good. The change of everything is so great. Also learning more about the history of Aperture science is great, because it gives a detailed backround for the Portal series.
Graphics:
Using the Source Engine for the game was a good idea, as the source engine has great graphics. You can tell portal-able surfaces from others, and precision shoot portals. Great graphics altogether.
